That's a good RTA for beginners. large capacity for beginners . it has both advantages and disadvantages . as advantages may be noted the excellent taste and pass a huge amount of steam . as the shortcomings noted to be potential problems with leakage , which, however , can be solved quite easily. I would recommend the tank for users who are willing to experiment
Easy to built, outstanding quality, only con is there is no single coil option.
Best RTA!
The Griffin comes in a stable plastic box wrapped with thin cardboard. Into the box you will find the griffin, a replacement glass tube, a set of o-rings, a hexagon screwdriver, replacement screws for the posts and an adaptor for 510-drip-tips.
The finish of the Griffin is well done in a marvellous stainless steel. All the threads are running lightly and the wide-bored Delrin-drip-tip is feeling very smooth. I've never seen a 22mm-diameter RTA with such a big deck. The velocity-style makes it very easy to build single- or dualcoils. Even (dual-)clapton-coils with up to 8 wraps and a diameter from 3mm can be build in. Wicking it is even total easy. After mounting the coil(s), you add the cotton wool slices and push it slightly in the liquid-control-ring at the bottom of the deck... that's it. Then you can screw up the tank-unit with the chimney to cover the deck. To fill the tank you have to close the liquid-control by turning upper steel-frame of the tank against the base. Some holes in the chinmey will be closed, so that no liquid can floate to the chamber. Then you can remove the top-cap and fill in the liquid very easy, even with a wide-boared can... :-) After closing the top-cap, open the liquid-control an the griffin is ready to vape. For the first build, I've needed about 15 minutes... second and third were much faster... To resume, I will say, that Geek Vape has taken all the positive features from other tanks and unified it to this... The Griffin... Precious materials, biggest deck in the 22mm RTA-class, easy to build and easy to fill. An excellent airflow-control and liquid-flow to the coils that guarantees a maximum on taste and clouds... And that's what we're always looking for. Finally, the price is hot... Absolute recommendation for all those who like to build their coils by themselves... High-qualitity-Cloud-Engine for a low budget... Buy it!!!
