Good morning dear vapers, today I want to tell you about the Drag E60.

Small cloud machine, the Drag E60 combines the power of a flavor/cloud device and the compactness of a mtl box , introducing an updated version of its proprietary tank , the new PnP Pod II. Let's go and see it ...

It arrives home in a rigid cardboard box on whose sleeve, in the front part we can immediately see an image of the product in the chosen color. The back shows the contents of the package, some precautions for use are indicated and the manufacturer's addresses are present in addition to the classic certification marks. A scratch and check code will allow us to verify its authenticity. On the sides we find respectively on one side some of the main peculiarities of the kit and on the other the social networks where the Voopoo is active, as well as a further indication of the color.

Inside the package we find:

Made of zinc alloy and aluminum, with a faux leather insert (the box), and PCTG (the PnP Pod II) the Drag E60 is a mod equipped with both manual and automatic shooting that has dimensions 94mm x 25mm x 46mm for a weight (including the tank but without liquid) of about 140 grams.

It can deliver a wattage between 5W and 60W (with 1W steps) and is able to read resistances between 0.1Ω and 3Ω.

From specifications it is reported that the output voltage will vary between 4.2V and 3.2V and this makes me think that there is no "boost". Probably when the battery runs out, the wattage shown on the screen will not be true with that actually supplied to the coil with a consequent decrease in performance depending on the heads used.

It is powered by an integrated battery with a capacity of 2550 mAh and, on the front of the device, there is a Usb Type-C port that will allow us to recharge, as well as the possibility of being able to connect it to a PC for any software updates.

The recharge will be carried out using a battery charger with 5V / 2A values and to complete this operation it will take about 90 minutes.

With a top view we can see the base where the PnP Pod II will be placed. It is possible to glimpse the electrical contacts and, as the manufacturer also recommends in the manual, it will be necessary to keep this part clean and dry from condensation in order to avoid problems, in particular for the correct functioning of the automatic shooting.

Also inside the base we can see three "teeth" which, thanks to the particular shape of the PnP Pod II that will rotate, will allow us to adjust the airflow, being able to divide two large opposing slots clearly visible in the figure. This very convenient adjustment will allow us to set the shot to our liking also based on the head we will have in use. It is also possible to obtain a tight pull, however, not suitable for the pulmonary vape for which this device was made.

On the front we can find the fire button and the + and - adjustment ones. Also made of metal, they are comfortable in size and well positioned in their seats.

With 5 clicks of the fire button we go to turn on / off the box. A clear and bright TFT color screen will show us all the classic usage information we are used to. It will also be possible to view the wattage and the corresponding supply voltage at the same time.

By pressing the + and - keys at the same time, we can access the menu through which to select:

- Mode - in this mode we can choose between:

smart - intelligent mode; the box will automatically set the wattage considered best for the coil in use and will limit the maximum wattage that can be set to avoid damaging the head
Rba - customized wattage adjustment in the operating range of the mod
Eco - the device enters power saving mode to ensure longer battery life. When the battery drops to 40% of remaining charge, the display will ask you to activate this mode which should offer us up to 10% more puff
- Puff reset - reset the puff counter

- About device - displays information about the device

We can also set the key lock by pressing the fire key and the + key at the same time. In this mode the fire button will be disabled while the automatic shot will remain active which will allow us to continue using the mod to vape.

Voopoo uses the innovative Gene.TT 2.0 Chip on this device which, in addition to guaranteeing high performance, is renewed in the interface offering us a user friendly menu that simplifies the operations and key combinations to activate them.

I also remind you that this device is equipped with all the classic protections guaranteed by the circuit that will allow safe use even for the less experienced vaper.

Finally, let's see the bottom of the mod, completely flat to ensure stability, where, however, there are no vent holes in case of battery malfunction. Obviously this should not cause concern, when they are not present on the bottom it is probably because a possible vent has been provided in other points of the box.

PnP POD II Tank

Made of PCTG, this new version of the Voopoo Pnp Pod tank can contain up to 4.5 ml of liquid and has some small improvements designed to simplify management, such as top-up refilling. Its operation always takes place through interchangeable pre fitted heads that will allow us to find the right compromise that best suits our personal tastes.
As in its first version, even here the proprietary drip tip, despite having been modified in some details, always remains fixed and cannot be replaced.

By turning the drip tip for about ¼ of a turn, one with the top cap, we will have access to the upper part of the tank where we will find a membrane with 2 holes, inside which to pass the spout of our refill bottles.

Simple and clean, the refill from the top is probably the most interesting improvement of this tank that make it even more comfortable than its previous version.

Once our head has been initialized by inserting a few drops of liquid in the slots and in the center, we just need to push it into its seat until it hits the chimney inside the tank .

These new PnP TW heads exactly recall those of the previous versions in the shapes, the improvements are probably internal and, included in the package we will find two, both meshed, with 0.2Ω and 0.3Ω values respectively. As usual, each head shows the identification code, the resistive value and the operating range. Unfortunately, the material with which the internal filament was made is not clearly indicated.

Excellent choice by the manufacturer to maintain total compatibility with PnP heads already on the market for some time and available in various values, to satisfy our tastes from mtl to pulmonary vaping.

Not happy with these coils ? ... the good news for all regeneration lovers is that even the Rba continues to be compatible with this new tank. This will allow us to create our favorite coils being able to also choose the wire made with the most suitable materials in case of intolerances and/or allergies.

Finally, let's see the base of the PnP Pod II, with this particular geometry made specifically to make the airflow regulation system work.

I point out that having a smaller diameter than the previous PnP tank, this will not be compatible with old devices such as the Drag X / S and, in the same way, the first version will not be compatible with these new devices. At the moment it is not yet possible to find even a 510 adapter on the market to be able to use the classic atomizers with this type of attack.

FINAL CONSIDERATIONS

Voopoo offers us something new by combining all the power of the Drag series in a really nice and pocket-sized “pocket” version. Having a device that disappears in one hand suitable for flavor and pulmonary vaping is probably the most tempting feature of the Drag E60 which, while taking into account the limitations of an integrated battery with good duration, will prevent us from carrying those dual battery mods, very powerful. it is true, but at the same time very bulky.

Its operation is very similar to the previous versions that use the classic PnP Pod, this new model is more compact but the heads used are the same, and even the newly designed PnP TW coils do not differ much in terms of aromatic yield and copious production of steam.

The refill from the top is definitely a point in favor of the PnP Pod II which makes everything more comfortable than the PnP Pod and on par with the PnP X Pod, which I continue to prefer because of the replaceable drip tip that offers greater customization. With this system, we will be able to refill without the need to remove the tank from its seat.

The adjustment of the airflow by rotating the tank instead of the classic lever is interesting which however has a weak point, in fact, given the compactness of the mod and the position of the air inlet slots, we will run the risk of going to cover the latter if we will not pay attention to how the mod is held since the fire button is also placed at the top on the front.

The renewed circuit is good but in my opinion it is easy to use in the same way as the previous version; the key combinations have been limited, but in my opinion the ease of use in this device depends only on our habit of using one version or the other. Nothing complicated in any case.

The ECO mode introduced is interesting, from which, however, I have not noticed any particular performance improvements, the 10% more is certainly convenient, but in devices with high discharge those 10-20 more shots I do not consider fundamental.

The only flaw I have found, but which does not always occur, so I cannot say if it is a general problem or only of my sample, concerns the automatic shot. By completely opening the buttonholes to obtain a very open pull, the automatic pull works in the first aspirations, and then begins to "sob" without activating correctly even when pulling deeply. Since the fire button is present, obviously this problem can be neglected and in any case occurs only with the slots wide open beyond ¾ of their width.

Ultimately what to say, if you are a lover of flavor or lung with moderate use, this device is certainly interesting because it brings together all the features of the Drag series in a very comfortable and pocket-sized compact version.
