In this article, I will talk about the CoolFire Z80 Mod + Zenith II Tank kit from the Chinese company Innokin. Make yourself comfortable, grab the shawarma, pour the cocoa and get ready to doubt. Hello reader, fresh hardware is already in front of you.
Precision, power, comfort - three words that fully characterize today's patient according to the manufacturer - Innokin, and designers - Phil Busardo and VapinGreek. New chips, new technologies, "renewing" coils and revealing taste in a certain special way ... Even Jean-Baptiste Joseph Fourier, through the centuries, had a hand and head to create this device. Let's see. Just remember - given the warm feelings for the brand, I cannot avoid subjectivity, although I will try.
Package
Beige on the outside, blue on the inside - recyclable box, wow!
One-third of the front part was occupied by the image of the complete set, and a little to the left and higher is the name of the manufacturer, the name of the whale, the main features and the mention of Fourier technologies on a black sticker.
The left side bears the serial number of the device and its reduced image, the right side - silver embossing of designer autographs and their decoding.
The downside was a barcode, a QR scratch, a hologram, a ton of warnings in icons and text, a list of contents, a manufacturer's address, and a recyclable badge.

Design features
I'll start with the tank, top to bottom.
The drip tip from the ultem with a shaft diameter of 3 mm, quite suitable for a semi-free MTL, is immersed in the tank lid and looks nice, you can change it, but not everything, the seat is too shallow. For example, the tipki from Sting and the second Sirena did not enter all the way, but from the second Manta - with a whistle and a meaty slap. It is also worth considering the close proximity to the filling hole located in the lid, and the sad fact of the inability to remove this lid. If you want beauty, use regular types or find a straight line, there is no place for curvy people.
The tank lid ... swivel, that is, like this, yes. Turned counterclockwise, exposed the silicone sponges, refueled. But first, take out the tip so that it does not interfere. The knurls on the lid are cool - small, grainy, cutting off the skin from the fingers, threads and fabric dust from clothes and rags, and lacquer coating from the tabletop. And then you will wash it all off.
The glass of the tank is almost half-hidden behind its body, but this does not inspire any special illusions in terms of reliability and protection against splitting.
In the center of the tank, there is a steam pipe shaft, which turns into a frame for evaporators; the shaft diameter is the same three millimeters as that of the drip tip.
The bottom of the tank, or the base, as you are more comfortable reading, has four air intake holes - three-point and one elongated, and one hole for the evaporator pin. The air intake is covered with a swivel ring with two end stops and protruding elements for which it can be turned comfortably.
The tank is over, it's the turn of the mod.
The silver connector pad with notches has a diameter of 17.5 mm, is screwed to the body with two TORX screws and stores a spring-loaded pin in its vent in the form of an ellipse truncated on both sides.
Almost the entire height of the body is embraced by a piece of leather, which is pressed by two vertical plates in the color of the body - left and right. If it is necessary to clean the leather bag of scrap, the plates can be removed by unscrewing a pair of TORX-screws from each, then remove the skin and discard it calmly without looking at possible damage to the mod.
The end of the device shines and shimmers with a plastic panel with a screen is hidden behind it, a large “fire” button with a bronze trim at the top, and small “+” and “-” buttons at the bottom. The charging socket is located a little lower.
The bottom of the mod is for the most part a battery compartment cover, magnetized, with gas vent holes and a tongue for easy manipulation. The thread on the lid is great, seriously. But the tongue is constantly magnetized inward and you have to pick it out three times per battery change. In the lid, but only on the inside, there is a negative contact, powerful and loving to break through the flimsy ass of the battery.
Menu and control
This is Innokin and their devices are not controlled like everyone else.
- Pressing "fire" three times turns the mod on and off.
- Pressing "+" or "-" unlocks the ability to adjust the power.
- Pressing "+" and "fire" opens an additional screen with the battery voltage in numbers, the exact current winding resistance, the number of puffs made and the ability to reset them.
- Pressing "-" and "fire" blocks and unblocks the voltage supply.
- Pressing "+" and "-" opens access to the menu.

Output
In the settings, you can: 1) set the screen type - normal or pro, which additionally displays information about resistance, voltage and the number of puffs, 2) set the screen off timeout - from 5 to 180 seconds, 3) adjust the puff cutoff - from 3 to 18 seconds, 4) find out the device ID, 5) reset everything to factory settings.
Personal and everyone
Hmm, I wrote a lot today, but in the end ...
What we liked:
Appearance. Without too much blah blah. Nraitsa, like the type of 90% of the products of this office.
A wide range of evaporators (0.3, 0.48, 0.5, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.6 Ohm) for any puff and power, taking into account the fact that this is not a hookah.
Smooth and precise airflow control
The instant response of the mod when pressing "fire"
Wide range of tightening cutoff settings
Build quality. Nothing backlash does not twitch or crawl, it is easy to unscrew what is supposed to be unscrewed, and what is not supposed to stand still buzz.
Sizes that are perfect for me;)
What did not like:
"The fourth-generation vaping technology" is the main and absolute feature of the fashion, the one that Fourier, FØ and all this is, seemingly called upon by special street magic at the junction of cybernetics and mathematics to expand the taste possibilities of any windings, but in fact, it only slightly displaces the taste accent ... So much so that it is not always noticeable.
"Refresh" is the second feature of the mod, "renewing" the windings and extending their service life, and at the same time refreshing the taste experience. In fact, this is pulsating calcination at reduced power and how it can help in solving the above problems, I still do not understand
Tank cap. Due to the impossibility of removing it, due to the proximity of the filling hole to the drip tip and the need to fish it out of the nest at each refueling, because of the biting knurls and because of the shortened landing of the drip tips.
Thank you for reading and if I suddenly forgot something, and you are terribly interested in it, do not hesitate to ask questions in the comments!
