(MOD):

Construction, Quality and Design: The construction quality of the AEGIS X ZEUS. It is obvious and it shows in the hand.

Waterproof, dustproof and shockproof, it is an elegant and very robust Mod, although nobody, including Geekvape will logically suggest going to dive with it or throwing the device from a 4th window, it is really much more robust than we are habitually

accustomed. Its construction made with 6 different durable materials in total, including the military grade silicone outer coating make it really interesting. Of course the USB has a silicone cover to prevent water or dust from entering. In hand it is comfortable for all its rounded corners and the padding is more decorative than functional. The touch itself is very nice, but it is a fairly large and a bit heavy Mod.

The AEGIS X has capacity for two 18650 batteries that are placed through the door located in the base that has a pin that at first is a little hard but that is smoothed with use, the closure is secure and watertight by some joints included in the closure.

The screen is 2.4 inches makes it very easy to read. The different themes included, each with various color possibilities make it highly customizable.

It has all the usual information on the screen. It is included in addition to the one that has a factory-installed replacement screen protector plastic.

The AEGIS X menu is the usual 5 clicks of fire button to turn on and 5 clicks to turn off and once turned on there are some key combination functions. Pressing both navigation buttons together locks the navigation keys, but the device will continue to fire, also pressing both navigation and drag buttons together turns the screen off and leaves it in stealth but functional mode.

I quite like the navigation menu, but I would like more if you could access the additional settings in a much more intuitive way.

ZEUS SUB-OHM CLAROMIZER:

Starting at the top we have a standard and correct Drip 810, a second option or an adapter to 510 is not provided. The top cap is bayonet type. The Pirex allows 2 straight and bubble possibilities in the standard version, the TPD version comes with a 2ml tank. The air flow control ring (very effective) can also be easily removed.

The Zeus Subohm claromizer has a top-down airflow system. Therefore, it has a double wall so that air enters through the grooves, through the cavity between the two chamber walls and in the deck section. Frankly it is very watertight and I have not had any problem of liquid leakage, in that sense very very well.

This tank has 2 options of resistances, in the two cases of kantal mesh both included in the kit so you can test them. Pre-installed the 0.20 ohm suitable for about 70-80W and the 0.40 to move between values of 60-70W.
The change of resistance is simply by pressure / extraction, if you have any problem removing it, the kit includes a tool to facilitate it.

MY PERSONAL CONCLUSIONS:

I must say that I did not use the temperature control and therefore I am not going to comment on that.

The finishes are excellent, very very good ... it conveys a sense of quality and a well-designed product. The screen is huge very easy to read as well as being able to customize it with different themes, it is a very good Mod but something big and heavy to take it for a walk. The team is very fast in delivering power in addition to being able to use its pre-heat modes that increase that feeling. Overall a good product although a little big and heavy to get it out of the house.

Regarding the tank it works well, it is well designed and does not disappoint but it is not a god of flavor or steam, it is normal and for me the most remarkable thing has been its cleanliness and ease of loading and change of resistance, ends with the problem of jammed resistors you can't loosen.

Recommended product if you like the above and its aesthetics. Good finishes, solid, 2.4 "screen, a little high weight and size…. Make your purchase recommendable? .... in my opinion YES

In the POSITIVE section I would highlight:

- Excellent build quality
- IP67 rating (tested water, dust and shock)
- Good 2.4 inch color screen
- AS 2.0 chipset, is fast in power delivery
- Balanced battery charge at 2 A (Recommended external charge)
- Ease of maintenance and liquid filling
- Watertight and with good flavor / vapor
- Decent longevity of resistances (depending on use and liquids)
- Very good quality / price ratio

In the NEGATIVE / IMPROVEMENTS section I would highlight:

- Decompensation in the discharge of batteries
- Something large and heavy device
- The air flow control ring sometimes comes off when removing the top cap
- Firmware upgradeable? I did not find anything on the manufacturer's website
- The battery life is perceived to be below average (screen?)
- Menu navigation could be more intuitive
